New Heritage pages!

Hey everyone it a very early Monday morning. Hope all is well with you so far. I just got done with few new heritage layouts. I liked how both of them turned out one is a double spread but had to take two different photos. Since I couldn't get a decent shoot of the double page. I like the first one I call "A Mother's Love" I guess you could it a "true" scrapbook page lol. Another is a double page layout I tried to make it look like the pictures are on a colorful "old table cloth". 

A Mother's Love - Lura Maude (Thomas) Smith with her daughter's
Ila and Nanel Smith. They are my paternal grandmother's Aunt and cousins.

 
This is layout is a double spread called: Table Cloth of Family Photos.
Couldn't take a picture of the whole layout so just took two different photos.
The lady and young man is my paternal great-grandfather's Aunt and Cousin.

This is part of the other half of the two spread layout. The young woman
in the photo. Is the daughter and sister of the two people in the above layout.

    Great layouts Justie. Love the muted tones you've used, they are a perfect backdrop for the vintage photos. It's going to look one heck of a great album. Pxx

    Hello, I really like your layouts and the punching on the second layout. I don't know what it is about heritage photos but I like to look @ them.

      Hi Mia,

      Thanks for the kind comments on my layouts. I am trying to get better with my layouts that for sure. All the pictures you see in these layouts are all original photos. I like using the original photos if I can. It brings a charm to the layout I think.

    I really like what you've done with the vintage photos. I just happened to see a post by you on scrapbook.com from late Oct. You were looking for protective covers for scrapbooks. I just launched a company for this exact purpose. ZquaredAway.com. Watch the video on the home page. Our covers are fire, water, and heat resistant. We have a line of extra large ones coming out that will fit the newer 3 ring scrapbooks.
